SCRAPBOOK PROJECT DUE FRIDAY, JUNE 1ST!!!

Today in class you will get your drafts back with peer edits.  Your job today is to revise your letters and start working on creating your artifacts for the scrapbook.  I suggest reviewing the project requirements and rubrics!

Today in class we will peer edit letters. Students will get their edited drafts back either this afternoon or Tuesday during class. 

Scrapbook project due Friday June 1st!!!

By the end of class today students should be able to print and hand-in their camp life and battle letter drafts.  All drafts must be printed and turned in by Friday during homeroom!

Civil War Soldier Project Update!!!

Drafts of the letters must be printed and given to Ms. Bisbee by homeroom on Friday, May 25th (If you are a student going to Quebec on Friday please share your docs ahead of time with a note to Ms. Bisbee that she needs to print them for you)

Students will have all period in the library Wednesday and Thursday to research and write.  Friday will be devoted to peer editing.

The Final Scrapbook Project is due June 1st!!!

Progress reports go home today...Please see printed detailed grade report handed out in class today for the MOST UP-TO-DATE GRADE info!

By the end of class today students should be finished with their camp life research and have either started writing that letter or started researching the battle & technology.

MCAS today and tomorrow! In class we will be examining primary source letters written by soldiers at the battle of Antietam.  Students will be collecting information from these letters and using them as a guide in their own letter writing next week.

Gettysburg & The Gettysburg Address
Thursday and Friday this week were dedicated to Gettysburg.  Yesterday students learned about the battle itself and shared knowedge from their multiple source HW readings. Today students worked with partners and listened to audio clips to investigate the Gettysburg Address.
