Big Change!
The HW tonight has changed.  Students do not need to do the GW Writing or Political Parties/Neutrality Doc.  Instead students should finish the primary source documents we started on Monday of George Washington & the Issue of Slavery

The Whiskey Rebellion

Today students will be divided into 2 groups.  Each group will read one of the following articles and answer the questions
Whiskey Rebellion Extension
Historama- Whiskey Rebellion
a few students will use this website for info: Constitutional Rights Foundation-Whiskey Rebellion

Next students will find a partner with the other article and discuss what happened during the Whiskey Rebellion and what impact it had.

Students will complete a write-around with 2 people from each group.


George Washington & Slavery

This week's calendar: Calendar Week of March 6th

Today in class we reviewed our grades, passed back corrected work, and cleaned out the history section of our binders.  Students can turn in missing work until March 14th for half credit.

We began to examine documents written by George Washington in order to investigate his opinion of slavery and how it changed over time.  We will finish this activity in class on Friday. George Washington & Slavery Primary Sources

Yesterday we enjoyed presentations from students who researched the role of Native Americans during the American Revolution and learned about George Washington as the first president.

Today in class students will have a presentation from NHS guidance department about 9th grade.

Due tomorrow: George Washington Reading & Questions and an index card based on the article including the following info: main idea of article, 3 interesting facts, 5 most important things to share GW Index Card
