We are diving into our last unit of the year: How Change is Made.  Students will learn about major movements in US history and their impact on American life through legislation, Supreme Court cases, and Amendments to the Constitution.  Students have already examined the 26th Amendment and the change made to the voting age.  Now they will travel back in time to examine slavery and abolition.

Today we will start researching whether or not you believe 16 is old enough to be able to vote in elections- we have already read articles on the current situation in Northampton.

Grades close Friday, April 6th. However there is MCAS Thursday and Friday so make sure students have turned in any missing work Wednesday since I won't see all classes later in the week!
