We have just finished up the mini-unit on the Industrial Revolution.  Now we will move into what life was like in the South and discuss slavery.  This unit is a difficult one, and students will be exposed to the realities of slave life and the inhumane treatment they suffered through.  We will be using a combination of text, primary sources, and the video series "Many Rivers to Cross: The African American Experience" to guide our discussions.
